An established business for over 100 years, D Blake has worked on some of Scotland’s most prestigious buildings. We are experts in restoration and new installation of leadwork, and also standing seam roofing and cladding systems in copper, zinc and stainless steel.

We recognise that training is an essential part of building a skilled workforce; all D Blake employees have completed a four-year apprenticeship and many of them have remained with the company as qualified tradesmen.

D Blake as a founder member of the Lead Contractors Association played an integral part in establishing the quality control manual for leadwork throughout the UK.

We are also in discussion with Historic Environment Scotland regarding the introduction of a new training scheme for heritage leadwork.
